# Quick start

> The five steps from sign-up to your first connection, and what each mode can do.

    Sign up with your company details and work email, then enter the 6-digit code from your inbox. See [Create an account](/getting-started/create-account).

    Supplier, Client, or Both. See [Choose your mode](/onboarding/choose-your-mode).

  <Step title="Complete your profile">
    Follow the guided setup for your [supplier profile](/onboarding/supplier-profile) or your [client profile](/onboarding/client-profile).

  <Step title="Connect">
    * Clients search in **Explore** and invite suppliers to their portal.
    * Suppliers accept invitations under **Network**.

  <Step title="Build trust">
    * Clients review suppliers.
    * Suppliers request reviews and add certificates and documents.

<Tip>
  The more complete your profile, the higher you appear in search results. The **Profile Progress** card on your profile shows how complete it is.

## What can I do as a Supplier or a Client?

| Compare suppliers side by side | | ✅ |
| Invite suppliers to my portal, with an NDA | | ✅ |
| Accept client invitations and sign NDAs | ✅ | |
| Review a supplier | | ✅ |
| Ask a client for a review | ✅ | |
| Invite companies to the platform (referral code) | ✅ | ✅ |

If your company does both, choose **Both**. You can then switch between the two modes with **Switch to Supplier** / **Switch to Client**.
